Dr. Mitch Johnson will lead the eight-week course, "The Nature of Effective Prayer", on Wednesdays from Nov. 11-Jan. 20 at the Nashville Center for Spiritual Living, 6705 Charlotte Pike in west Nashville.  Attendees will learn how effective prayer can produce physical healings; the manifestation of abundance, love, success and greater happiness; and a greater understanding, appreciation and relationship with God. Separate classes will be offered at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Tuition for "The Nature of Effective Prayer" is $120 for all eight classes or $20 per class.  First-time attendees who withdraw from the course after the first class will not be charged.  Textbooks for the class are "Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer" by Gregg Braden and "How to Pray Effectively from the Science of Mind" by Ernest Holmes.  "If you are new to this teaching or simply want to hone your skills, this is the class for you,” said Johnson, the reverend for NCSL.  "Attendees will thrive in an atmosphere of expansive thinking, creativity and total acceptance."
